Organic Matcha Kawane 30g

Full-bodied and smooth with slight herb notes and a bright, rich green colour. From younger tea plants (generally under 30 years old) this is best for a thinner (Usucha grade) Matcha brewed with more water and less tea, where vigorous whisking produces the characteristic frothy head and resulting crema. From the Kawane region, located in Japan’s most important cultivation area Shizuoka, where the very finest Tencha is produced in the spring from the cultivars Yabukita and Okumidori. Eight Bells

Admiral Grey’s afternoon favourite combining Earl Grey, vanilla and a hint of passion fruit. How better to end the watch? Unlike civil clock bells, the strikes of a ship’s bell do not accord to the number of the hour. Instead, there are eight bells, one for each half-hour of a four-hour watch. In the age of sailing, watches were timed with a 30-minute hourglass. Bells would be struck every time the glass was turned, and in a pattern of pairs for easier counting, with any odd bells at the end of the sequence. Package Size - 125g

Jasmine Dragon Pearls

Dragon Pearls are made from the top two leaves and the bud of new season growth; production begins in the spring but they must wait for summer for the jasmine to appear. The infusion is light and fresh with a wonderful fragrance. This is still a hand-rolled tea with steam from purified water misted over the tea leaves to make them soft and pliable. Grown, steamed and hand rolled on farms in the Fujian Mountains. Package Size - 125g
