Ancient Purple Leaf Ball

The leaves of this raw, or sheng, Pu Erh are long, slender and slightly twisted with purple and silver hues, and a sweet wood and cranberry fragrance. Harvested from ancient tea trees on Wuliang Mountain, carefully processed and then hand-rolled into mini balls. A remarkable rock tea which brews smooth and sweet with distinct dried fruit notes, such as grapefruit and peach. The plantations are situated in the Phoenix Mountains at a high elevation of around 1300m in the north of Guangdong Province.
